Panchkula. The family members of late Surendra Mohan Sood, resident of Sector-6, Panchkula, who died on January 7, donated his body to PGI as per the wish of the deceased. The mortal remains of Surendra Mohan Sood were duly handed over to the anatomy department of the hospital by his wife Saroj Kapoor and sons Chetan Sood and Rajat Sood. Dr. Anjali Aggarwal of the hospital, on behalf of her department, has expressed gratitude to the family members for this noble work. According to family members, Surendra Mohan Sood devoted his life for the welfare of the Saidav people. The family told that he was associated with many social organizations. He was the Vice President of Panchkula Arya Samaj and the Vice President of Sood Sabha and a member of Patron Nishkam Seva Parishad.
