New Delhi, January 15 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released a new poster against Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Atishi, accusing him of insulting ‘gurus’. Delhi unit of BJP said that instead of dismissing absconding Atishi from the party, Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann are whitewashing her misdeeds.
Delhi BJP shared Atishi’s poster on social media platform ‘X’, in which pictures of Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann are also included. It is written on the poster, “‘Aap-Da’ came to the rescue of Atishi who absconded after insulting Sikh Gurus.”
Meanwhile, NDMC Vice President Kuldeep Chahal targeted the Aam Aadmi Party. Speaking to news agency IANS, Kuldeep Chahal said that former Aam Aadmi Party Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi have been repeatedly hurting religious sentiments.
Kuldeep Chahal said, “Atishi insulted ‘gurus’ in the Delhi Assembly. He spoke such words which cannot come out of anyone’s mouth. This statement of Atishi is also condemnable. It has been opposed by all the BJP leaders. There have been demonstrations at many places.”
He said that the nervous and scared Aam Aadmi Party and its leader of opposition Atishi are missing. They all know that a big mistake has been made. They will face the consequences of this in the upcoming elections in Punjab and elsewhere too.
Kuldeep Chahal demanded that Aam Aadmi Party should take action against Atishi and Atishi should also tender her resignation and apologize publicly.
Earlier, on Tuesday, Delhi government minister Kapil Mishra had released a poster during a press conference declaring former Chief Minister Atishi ‘missing’. He gave a statement that a sin was committed in the Delhi Assembly on 6 January. A sin which has never been committed in any House of Parliament in the country. The person who has committed the crime is absconding.
