Dausa/Salempur. Hardcore criminal Suresh Meena, notorious for theft and robbery of luxury vehicles in Rajasthan and other states, has been arrested by the police in a film style operation. The police surrounded and caught the accused from the hills of Naugaon. Suresh Meena is not only a history-sheeter but also the main leader of a gang involved in stealing high-tech vehicles through electronic devices. The accused of murderous attack and robbery for extortion has been arrested in connection with an incident that took place on January 4. Victim Mohan Lal Meena told the police that he drives his jeep at Mahwa bus stand. Accused Suresh and his associate Naresh Meena had called him on WhatsApp and threatened to pay ‘monthly’ (ransom).
When the victim refused to pay the money, Suresh, Naresh and their 4-5 masked associates, who came on three motorcycles near Bada Mode, surrounded the jeep. The accused attacked the victim fatally with iron rods and sticks and looted Rs 32,000, gold chain and Aadhaar card from his pocket and threw him on the roadside in an unconscious state.
Search operation continued from fields to hills
The police team under the leadership of Police Officer Sant Charan laid a tight trap to catch the accused.
Search operation: Police first conducted intensive search in the mustard fields of Khorra Mulla.
Arrest: Seeing the increasing pressure from the police, the accused hid in the hills of Naugaon, from where the team chased him and arrested him.
