Family members of the victims of the Pahalgam attack criticized the government for the upcoming cricket match between India and Pakistan and said that when they got this news, the family became “very upset”.
Sawan Parmar, who lost his father and brother in the attack, expressed his pain over the match and said that Operation Sindoor is now looking like a “useless”.
Talking to news agency ANI, he said, “When we came to know that India vs Pakistan match is being held, we got very upset. There should be no connection with Pakistan. If you want to play the match, bring back my 16 -year -old brother, who had so many bullets. Operation Sindoor now seems useless.”
His mother Kiran Yatish Parmar questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi that if the operation vermilion has not been completed yet, then why is this marriage being done. He further said that the wounds of the victim families are not yet healed.
He said, “This match should not be.
In the tournament, anger over the match between India and Pakistan arises from a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 tourists were killed by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists on 22 April. There are mixed feelings about this match and there is a demand to boycott this match against Pakistan.
Earlier, former all -rounder and BJP leader Kadhar Jadhav opposed the match.
Jadhav expressed his opinion that India should not participate in this match and said while talking to reporters, “I don’t know what will happen, but I have already said that, according to me, this match should not be played.”
