New Delhi, February 3 (IANS). In today’s busy life, we often ignore the needs of our body and mind. Staying up late at night, irregular meals, excessive time on mobile and screens and constant stress, all these gradually affect our health. At such times, natural routine takes us back to balance. This is not a system with strict rules, but a natural way of living in harmony with the rhythm of nature.

Natural routine starts in the morning. Waking up before sunrise is considered very beneficial for both body and mind. At this time the environment is calm and pure, due to which the mind remains concentrated. Waking up in the morning, walking for some time, doing yoga, pranayama or meditation gives energy and positivity for the whole day. This is also the best time to connect with yourself and plan your day.

Respecting the body’s natural needs is also an important part of the natural routine. Small things like eating when hungry, sleeping when sleepy and not stopping defecation and urination may seem simple, but these are the things that lead to good health. Stopping them repeatedly can cause many problems in the body.

It is also very important to pay attention to cleanliness. Brushing teeth, cleaning tongue, bathing and wearing clean clothes every morning and night not only keeps the body healthy but also refreshes the mind. Light massage with oil removes body fatigue and improves blood circulation. This is a beautiful way to give time to yourself.

Natural routine teaches us simplicity when it comes to food. One should eat nutritious food on time, as per need. Eating too much fried, junk food or late at night makes the body heavy and lethargic. It is wise to choose food according to the season and your capacity. Water should also be drunk from time to time, neither too little nor more than necessary.

Balance between physical activity and rest is very important. A little exercise every day strengthens the body, while a good sleep of 6 to 8 hours at night gives complete rest to the body and mind. The habit of sleeping repeatedly during the day should be avoided, unless the body demands it.
