Jaipur. The 254th board meeting of Rajasthan Housing Board was held on Tuesday at the board headquarters. Many important public welfare proposals were approved in the meeting chaired by Debashish Prishti, Principal Secretary to the Urban Development and Housing Department and Board Chairman.
As per the announcement of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, administrative and financial approval was given for preparation of DPR and appointment of architect for the development of Atal Poetry Memorial and Atal Loktantra Upvan in City Park located in Mansarovar, Jaipur. In the meeting, it was also agreed to provide 2500 square meters of land for the Mandal Child Observation Home in IG Nagar Sector 34-35, the proposal of which will be sent to the state government.
The Board President said that under the guidance of Urban Development and Housing Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra, district wise camps will soon be organized for layout plan amendment and land use change and a special online portal will be developed for these services.
In the meeting on Wednesday, the positive response received for auction, premium properties and housing schemes was described as a sign of public confidence. The application period for housing schemes of Hanumangarh and Bhiwadi has been extended till February 28, while new schemes will be introduced soon in other cities including Jaipur, Jaisalmer.
Along with this, administrative and financial approvals were also given for land marking, drone survey, disposal of pending properties through RFSDL and development works of various housing schemes.
Housing Commissioner Dr. Rashmi Sharma gave instructions for quick implementation of decisions and demarcation, signage and fencing for the protection of board properties.
In the meeting, Divisional Secretary Gopal Singh, Deputy Secretary Dr. Ashok Kumar, Chief Engineer Amit Agarwal, T.S. Meena, financial advisor K.C. Kumawat and other senior officers were present.
