AI video of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and his late mother Hiraben Modi has been shared on social media. A case has been registered against Congress leaders in the case of sharing this video. On the complaint of the Bharatiya Janata Party, an FIR has been lodged at the North Avenue police station in Delhi. An AI generated fake video was released on the X handle from the official social media handle (INC Bihar) of the Congress. This case has been registered against leaders associated with Congress and Bihar Congress IT cell.
According to the complaint, a video was shared from the official social media handle of Bihar Congress on 10 September 2025 at 6:12 pm. In this video, the image of PM Modi and his late mother was incorrectly shown. The BJP says that this video was not only made to hurt the Prime Minister’s reputation and feelings, but it has also insulted the dignity and motherhood of women. The complaint also said that during the voter rights journey of Congress-RJD held in Darbhanga, Bihar on 27-28 August, indecency and indecent comments were made against PM Modi and his mother. The Delhi Police has registered an FIR, considering the complaint of BJP leader Sanket Gupta as serious. The BNS has been recorded in the relevant sections of the IT Act and Digital Data Protection Act including 318 (2), 336 (3) (4), 340 (2), 356 (2) and 61 (2).
BJP leaders strongly condemned
At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party has attacked the Congress fiercely in the matter of generating fake AI video. The Bharatiya Janata Party workers expressed surprise that the Congress also incorrectly presented his late mother when no other remains were found to tarnish Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image and the incident is completely shameful.
