Lucknow, 14 September (IANS). The ‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh -developed Uttar Pradesh @2047’, run by the Yogi government, is constantly moving forward with public participation and suggestions. Till Sunday, nodal officers and enlightened people visited all 75 districts of the state and interacted with students, teachers, businessmen, entrepreneurs, farmers, voluntary organizations, labor organizations, media and general public.

In this dialogue, not only the development journey of the last eight years was shared, but the discussion and feedback was also obtained to decide the direction of the future.

So far, about 1.5 lakh feedbacks have been recorded on the portal ‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh. UP.GOV.in’ developed by the government. Of these, about one lakh feedbacks were received from rural areas and the rest from urban areas. According to the age group, about 50 thousand suggestions have come from the age group below 31 years, 75 thousand suggestions from 31-60 years and the remaining suggestions from the age group of more than 60 years.

Education is still the biggest issue among the public. About 50 thousand suggestions were found related to education. Apart from this, about 25 thousand related to urban and rural development, more than 15 thousand on health, about 15 thousand suggestions related to social welfare and more than 20 thousand related to agricultural sector were registered.

The districts like Kanpur Dehat, Farrukhabad, Jaunpur, Balrampur, Pratapgarh and Firozabad were the highest participation. More than 53,996 feedbacks were received from these districts, which shows that the public is taking this campaign seriously.

Many enlightened people including Arun Kumar Dwivedi, Deepali and Vaishali Raina suggested that the time is needed to connect education with skill development. In order to provide employment oriented education to students, emphasis was laid on inclusion of commercial subjects in the school curriculum and providing free skill development course through e-learning portal. Also, to deal with the rising cost of private education in urban areas, the quality of government schools and the need to improve resources were also stated.

Abhishek Kumar and Alok Kumar of Kanpur countryside highlighted the increasing relevance of tools like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ChatjPT in the IT area. He said that AI may bring revolutionary changes in areas such as education, research, drug manufacturing, architecture and engineering since the release of Chat GPT at the end of 2022. Even NASA is working on its possibility of its use in space research.

Although there is enthusiasm among people about AI, experts believe that this technique will take time to establish full confidence. It requires more testing and development so that it can be applied safely and useful in future. It is clear from the campaign that the public is becoming an active partner not only in the path of development. People’s suggestions towards education, skill development and adopting modern technology can become the basis of the future policies of the government.
