There was a lot of trouble regarding salary and visa.
All these workers were working in a company in Abha city of Saudi Arabia. According to the information received, the company had not paid him salary for the last 2 to 3 months. The situation had become so bad that they had no money left even for food and drink. The Iqama (visa) of many workers had expired and their passports were also deposited with the company, making them ‘illegal’.
When Abid Hussain received their video, he contacted the Indian Embassy in Riyadh and Jeddah. The Embassy arranged for Exit Visa and removed legal hurdles. Today Abid Hussain himself welcomed these laborers at Mumbai Airport. Talking to GulfHindi, he said that all the workers are very happy and their families sitting in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are continuously praying.
