Delhi Metro is often in the news for fights and disturbances among passengers more than for its journeys. Recently, a video surfaced of two passengers, believed to be corporate employees, breaking all decorum and attacking each other inside a metro coach, causing chaos in the journey.
In the viral video, a sudden commotion is seen in a metro coach. Two youths clashed over some issue. The anger escalated into violence. One man pinned the other down while the other struggled to free himself. Other passengers sitting in the coach were frightened by this sudden attack.

Intervention efforts failed
It is clearly visible in the video that some passengers standing nearby, seeing the matter escalating, tried to intervene. People came forward to intervene and calm down both men, but neither man was willing to go away.
This video was shared with the handle @gharkekalesh. Commenting on the video, users have made fun of the security of Delhi Metro and the behavior of passengers. One user jokingly wrote, “Welcome to Delhi Metro.” Another fumed, “Such violent people should be banned from entering the metro.” Another user wrote, “This is no longer Delhi Metro, it has become ‘Kaleshi Metro’.”
