Siliguri, March 2 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Naveen has targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Regarding the issue of infiltration, Nitin Naveen said that the way Bengal has become a way for Bangladeshis to enter the country, there is a danger of worsening of our demographic balance.
Speaking to the stalwarts of trade, commerce and business sectors in Siliguri, West Bengal, Nitin Naveen said, “Bengal was earlier the largest industrial area, but it is declining rapidly and the state government is responsible for this, because the way it was supposed to be given importance, the state government did not give importance to this area. Earlier, Bengal used to contribute 10 percent in the economy of India, which has come down to 5 percent today. From this you can imagine that the state government here has What is the mentality?
He further said, “Bengal has today become a bastion of corruption and violence under the Mamata government. The Mamata government has worked to destroy what was the identity of West Bengal.”
Meanwhile, raising the issue of infiltrators, the BJP president said, “The state government is forcing the people of Bengal to migrate, while allowing infiltrators from Bangladesh to settle here. More than 50 lakh names have been removed from the voter list. It is clear who helped them settle and gave them rights.”
Nitin Naveen told the people of Bengal, “You are not voting just for West Bengal in this election. Your vote is linked to the security of the entire country. The way Bengal has become a way for Bangladeshis to enter the country, there is a danger of our demographic balance getting deteriorated.
Giving a clear message to the infiltrators, Nitin Naveen said, “Those who live inside India, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians, will all get their rights, but the infiltrators who have come from outside will not get any rights here. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, we are continuously making efforts to advance every poor and backward person, but we cannot tolerate infiltrators inside the country. Mamta Didi went to Delhi as a lawyer to defend those Bangladeshi infiltrators, whose names were registered against voters. Have been removed from the list.”
