This step has been taken in view of the closure of airspace and delays in flights due to the increasing dispute between America, Israel and Iran.

These relief flights of SpiceJet are being operated between March 3 and March 5, 2026. Passengers from cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi are being brought back through these flights.

Important government guidelines for travelers
The Ministry of Airlines and Aviation has issued some rules for the passengers so that any kind of trouble can be avoided. Passengers have been advised not to crowd the airport without confirmed tickets.
Only those passengers whose booking status is confirmed or who have been contacted by the airline should go to the airport. Airlines are giving first seats to those passengers whose flights were canceled earlier. Air India, IndiGo and Akasa Air have waived ticket change fees for the affected passengers. The Ministry and the Indian Embassy are continuously monitoring the situation.
Passengers will return from a total of 58 flights
On March 4, 2026, different airlines of India have arranged a total of 58 special flights. Indigo has also started 10 relief flights from Jeddah so that the stranded people can be evacuated on time. The closure of air routes in the Middle East has affected more than 1,100 international flights, affecting thousands of Indians. SpiceJet aims to normalize its regular flights between Fujairah-Delhi and Fujairah-Mumbai from March 4.
