Indore, 15 September (). A horrific road accident occurred in Indore, the business city of Madhya Pradesh, when an uncontrolled truck trampled several people. Two people have died in this accident, while many others have been seriously injured.
According to the information received, at the Ramchandra Nagar intersection, a high speed truck engulfed two motorcycle riders and dragged them moving forward. People tried to stop the truck, but the driver did not stop and trampled several passers -by at Ganpati intersection. Eyewitnesses say that the truck was in such a high speed that he went on crushing every vehicle and person who came to the fore.
Meanwhile, sparks came out of a motorcycle stuck in the truck and the truck caught fire due to explosion. On seeing this, the truck was surrounded by flames. As soon as the accident was reported, the police officers reached the spot and the injured were immediately sent to the hospital. The hospital administration has also been alerted and the injured are undergoing treatment.
Police have confirmed the death of two people in the accident. Initial investigations have revealed that the truck driver was drunk, due to which this fierce accident occurred. The driver has been arrested by the police. Given the seriousness of the accident, it is feared that the number of dead may increase further. At the same time, the public representatives also reached the spot and every possible help was tried for the injured.
