New Delhi, March 7 (). The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final result of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 on Friday. The Commission released the UPSC CSE 2025 final result in PDF format on its official website, which contains the names and roll numbers of a total of 958 selected candidates.
Among the 958 candidates selected in the UPSC CSE 2025 examination, one name is that of Shubham Kumar Mahato from Dhanbad, Jharkhand, who has emerged victorious in the Civil Services Examination for the third consecutive time. He has secured All India 142nd rank.
Shubham Kumar Mahato, 29, son of BCCL worker Hiralal Mahato, resident of Dumra Jamuatand, Baghmara, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, has brought glory to Dhanbad by securing 142nd rank in the Civil Services Examination 2025.
Earlier, Shubham had succeeded in UPSC CSE twice, but he got 857th rank in 2023 and 606th rank in 2024. However, Shubham was not satisfied with the rank of his first two attempts, so he decided to try for the third time.
Shubham’s years of hard work, dedication and self-confidence have made him successful in the UPSC CSE exam for the third consecutive time. Today his entire family is satisfied with him after getting a good rank in the third attempt.
Talking about Shubham’s educational qualification, he did 10th from Chandrapura De-Nobili School. Then passed 12th DPS from Bokaro. After Intermediate, he did B.Tech in Mining Engineering from BHU, Banaras. During this period he was a gold medalist. After completing his graduation degree, Shubham decided to prepare for civil services and went to Delhi.
He gave credit for his success to his parents. Mother Manju Devi is happy with her son’s success. Shubham says that there is no shortcut path to success. To achieve this a person has to work very hard. Success is definitely achieved by hard work, discipline and patience. He advised UPSC aspirants and students to listen to their parents as they always think best for their children.
Let us tell you that this year Anuj Agnihotri has secured first position in UPSC CSE, Rajeshwari Suve M has secured second position, and Ekansh Dhull has secured third position. Apart from this, Raghav Jhunjhunwala has secured fourth position, Ishaan Bhatnagar has secured fifth position, and Jiniya Arora has secured sixth position. At the same time, seventh place has been achieved by A R Raja Mohidin, eighth place by Pakshal, ninth place by Aastha Jain, and tenth place by Ujjwal Priyank.
