Mumbai, March 13 (IANS). Shivkumar Mali, father of flight attendant Pinky Mali, met Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) founder Sharad Pawar on Friday regarding the plane crash case in Baramati. During this time, Maharashtra State President of the party Shashikant Shinde was also present.
Shivkumar Mali raised the demand for justice for his daughter and appealed for an impartial and high-level investigation into the entire plane crash. He said that it is very important for the truth to come out in this matter so that the victim’s family can get justice.
During the meeting, he discussed many aspects related to the accident and demanded strict action against the culprits. Shivkumar Mali said that if the investigation is done in a fair manner then the truth will come out and those responsible should be punished.
He appealed to the government and concerned agencies to take this matter seriously and conduct an impartial investigation as soon as possible so that the victim’s family can get justice and such incidents are not repeated in future.
Earlier, MLA Rohit Pawar, nephew of late leader Ajit Pawar, had also met Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and handed over the information collected about the plane crash to him. Rohit Pawar had also discussed with Deputy Chief Minister Shinde the demands of the families of Ajit Pawar’s security personnel who died in the accident.
NCP-SP MLA Rohit Pawar had posted on social media platform ‘X’ that he met Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Mumbai regarding Ajit Pawar’s plane crash and handed him all the documents collected regarding the accident. Told him about the follow up being done in the investigation of the accident and also discussed the demands of the families of Jadhav, Mali and Pathak who were killed along with Ajit Pawar in this accident.
Let us tell you that Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar died in a plane crash in Baramati on January 28. He was going to Baramati by private plane, where he was to address a public meeting. The plane crashed during landing. Four other people including the pilot and co-pilot also died in this. However, after the death of Ajit Pawar, questions are continuously being raised regarding the plane crash.
