Chandigarh. Haryana Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij has expressed deep condolence on the demise of Prem Kaur Kalyan, mother of Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvindra Kalyan. In his condolence message, Vij said that the news of the demise of Mrs. Prem Kaur Kalyan is extremely sad and painful. He said that mother’s place is paramount in life and her shadow is a source of strength, values and guidance for the family. His demise is a big loss not only for the family but also for the society.
Vij said that parents work throughout their life to give values, education and right direction to their children. Mrs. Prem Kaur Kalyan also gave strong values to her family and under her guidance, her sons have made their unique identity in the society and public life. His love, sacrifice and blessings will always remain a source of inspiration for the family. Energy Minister Anil Vij said that his deepest condolences are with the Kalyan family in this hour of grief. He prayed to God to grant peace to the departed soul and grant strength and patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. He said that in this hour of grief, the entire society and their well-wishers are standing with the Kalyan family and all are praying to God for the peace of the departed soul.
It is noteworthy that Prem Kaur Kalyan (wife of late Chaudhary Devi Singh Kalyan) passed away. His last rites will be performed today, March 14, 2026 (Saturday) at 2:30 pm at Shivpuri, Village Kutel, Karnal. The last procession will depart from the residence at Kalyan Farm, Madhuban, Karnal at 2 pm.
