There is relief news for Indian travelers going to Dubai and stranded there. Indigo has informed that flights to Dubai have been restarted from 4 pm on March 18, 2026. For the last few days, flights were affected due to regional tension and security reasons, but now the situation is gradually returning to normal. The airline has made special arrangements to help the passengers.
Important instructions and rules for passengers
The airline has taken this decision after the latest update from Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. The company has advised passengers to check the status of their flight on the official website before leaving for the airport. To avoid crowds, it has been advised not to go to the airport until the flight is confirmed. A dedicated help desk has also been created to help passengers affected by the recent disruptions.
Passengers can seek refund for canceled flights. Stranded passengers can rebook their tickets without any extra charges. Now the work at Dubai Airport has become normal to 40-45 percent.
Special flights will run for these cities
Indigo is running 26 special flights on March 19 to take stranded passengers to their destination. These flights will connect major cities of India with Gulf countries and other international centres. Apart from IndiGo, Air India and Air India Express have also decided to resume their services.
