Israel’s response and global reaction
In response to this attack, the Israeli Defense Minister has warned that they will further intensify their action against Iran and its supported groups. At the same time, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has appealed to curb the military activity taking place near Iran’s nuclear bases. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke to the President of Iran on this issue and stressed on the security of sea lanes.
Hezbollah has claimed that they have conducted a total of 55 military operations so far. The Israeli army has increased its ground patrol near the Lebanon border.
