Patna, April 1 (IANS). Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He said that the Chief Minister has now lost faith in the people of the state and his mandate.
Speaking to the media, Pandey said that the Election Commission is continuously working to ensure fair and transparent voting in West Bengal, but Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress (TMC) have objections to these constitutional efforts. He alleged that in the last elections, power has been gained with the help of tactics like alleged misuse of administration and police force, intimidating voters and giving voting rights to illegal infiltrators. The BJP leader stressed that due to the activeness of the Election Commission, such plans would not succeed this time.
He said that when their efforts are not getting resolved, the people of West Bengal are against them, the people want to change the government, then they are hurting the systems. The Election Commission has always conducted fair elections. Recently, fair elections have been conducted in Bihar also. Despite this, it has become a habit of Mamata Banerjee to make meaningless allegations against the Election Commission.
He said that the people there are also seeing that the Election Commission is working impartially, hence Mamata Banerjee should leave such things and go among the public. In a democracy, the public is the master, the public is the voter, but they have lost faith in the public. They do not trust the public vote. They believe in manipulation.
Here, regarding the shortage of petroleum products, Minister Mangal Pandey said that PM Narendra Modi is keeping an eye on the entire global situation. The Indian people should not face any kind of difficulty, this is the priority of PM Modi and the government. He has also assured the public that there is no shortage of anything in the country.
