Kharagpur, April 11 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dilip Ghosh has responded to the questions raised by Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee on the party’s resolution paper. Dilip Ghosh said that keeping in mind the poor and the needy, BJP has made announcements in its ‘Sankalp-Patra’.
TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee had termed the promise of giving monthly allowance of Rs 3000 to women and unemployed in BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ as a new ‘jumla’. Countering this, Dilip Ghosh said, “Every government provides some support to the poor and the needy. At the time of elections, their allowance is increased by a few rupees, but those people should get enough monthly allowance that they can live a normal life. BJP has taken its decision after considering all these things.”
Meanwhile, he said, “The BJP government is running the entire country. Ration is given to 81 crore people. From housing to gas and toilets, the benefits of all the schemes are given to the public.”
Dilip Ghosh also said that TMC party makes some announcements just to buy votes. The Trinamool government remembers women only during elections.
At the same time, regarding the statement of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the case of Humayun Kabir and Babri Masjid, he said, “The matter which was being discussed so much, the Union Home Minister has made the issue of Humayun Kabir very clear.”
He said, “Issues like Babri Masjid were just a ploy to woo people. Humayun Kabir’s agenda was only to earn his name by raising this issue and to bargain with Mamata Banerjee. Now this issue is not going to work in the elections.”
Let us tell you that former Trinamool Congress leader Humayun Kabir is constructing ‘Babri Masjid’ in Murshidabad. He laid the foundation stone of the mosque named ‘Babri’ before the dates of West Bengal Assembly elections. Due to this decision, TMC separated MLA Humayun Kabir from the party. However, later Humayun Kabir formed his own party, which is contesting the assembly elections.
