Chandigarh. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives at Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar. He called upon everyone to come together and together create the Punjab of the dreams of the martyrs. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann wrote on the social media platform Make Punjab.” Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan also paid tribute to the martyrs. He wrote, “We pay our tribute to the unmatched sacrifice of the heroes who were martyred in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. That painful incident of April 13, 1919, still shakes our hearts. Freedom is not just a word, but the dream of lakhs of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in Jallianwala Bagh.”
The Punjab unit of Aam Aadmi Party has also paid tribute to the martyrs. The party wrote in the ‘
Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Sri Hargobindpur Sahib Amarpal Kishankot also paid tribute to the martyrs. He wrote, “This day, which highlights the height of oppression, reminds every Indian of the price of freedom and the sacrifices made for it, which inspired thousands of patriots to fight for the motherland.”
