BJP MP and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur targeted Rahul Gandhi on this. Anurag Thakur said that the Election Commission is working without any partiality, but Rahul Gandhi is weakening democracy. Anurag Thakur accused Rahul Gandhi of filling the public and said that he is trying to create conditions like Bangladesh and Nepal in the country.

Anurag Thakur also questioned Rahul Gandhi’s allegation of vote theft in Aland, Karnataka. He said that the Election Commission itself issued a mobile number and IP address in the matter of removing the name of the voter there. Earlier, the Election Commission denied Rahul Gandhi’s claims wrong. The Election Commission said that no person can delete the voter’s name. The Election Commission said that there was an attempt to delete the name of the voter in Aland. The Election Commission itself filed an FIR in that case. The Election Commission also said that in 2018, BJP candidate won the Aland assembly seat. Whereas, in 2023, the Congress candidate won the Aland seat in Karnataka.
