The Uttar Pradesh government is running Shramik Vidya Yojana to help poor children, under which financial assistance is given to such children every month. Under this scheme, poor boys are given Rs 1000 per month and poor girls are given Rs 1200 per month. The purpose of this scheme is to target especially children who are orphans or financially so weak that they cannot go to school.
Only poor children can take advantage of this scheme, one or both of them have died. Apart from this, children whose parents are permanently disabled will also be given help under this scheme. The scheme also includes children whose parents suffer from serious illness. However, they should not have any kind of land.

To apply for the scheme, you also have to provide some documents, including documents like family income, Aadhaar card, passport size photo and residence certificate. If there are children around you who are unable to go to school and are making their livelihood by doing wages, then you can tell them about this scheme of UP government. You can also register them under this scheme.
