Aamir Khan has returned to the big screen after three years with this film full of comedy and emotions. ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ is winning the hearts of the audience and has managed to earn handsomely as soon as it is released.
‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ has made a strong start at the Indian box office on the first day. According to the report of Saknilk, Aamir Khan starrer film has opened with Rs 11.50 crore in India. With this, the film has defeated Sunny Deol’s film ‘Jatt’ released this year on the very first day. In terms of opening, this film is equal to films like ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ (7.84 crores), ‘Jaat’ (9.62 crores). Although, it is less than Aamir’s previous film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ (11.5 crores) and blockbuster ‘Dangal’ (29.78 crores), but it is many times better than 2007’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ (2.62 crores).
Aamir Khan was earlier seen in the film “Lal Singh Chaddha”. Aamir Khan worked very hard for this film but the audience rejected the film.

RS Prasanna has directed the film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, made under the banner of Aamir Khan’s production house. Genelia Deshmukh is seen romancing with Aamir Khan in the film. Apart from this, many actors including Aarush Dutta, Gopi Krishnan Verma, Vedant Sharma, Naman Mishra, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain and Ashish Pendse are part of the film.
