New Delhi, May 6 (IANS). In the changing season, there is a fear of infection, cold and other diseases spreading rapidly. In such a situation, it has become very important to keep the immune system strong. Health experts suggest five easy ways to boost immunity.
According to the Department of AYUSH, Chhattisgarh, a strong immune system increases the body’s ability to fight infections and reduces the chances of falling ill. By adopting these suggestions from health experts, you can easily protect your and your family’s health. The department said that these small habits provide big protection in the long run. Experts believe that in the changing weather, it is more important to make your daily routine healthy than medicine. If you have any chronic disease then definitely consult a doctor or AYUSH specialist before adopting these remedies.
To strengthen the immune system, first of all take deep sleep. For this, take at least 7 to 8 hours of deep and good sleep at night, which is most important for the immune system. During sleep the body repairs itself and immune cells become active. Irregular sleep weakens immunity. The second is to eat well and reduce sugar. Nutritious diet is the backbone of the immune system. Eat things like fruits, vegetables, pulses, cereals, nuts and curd which are rich in vitamin C, D, zinc and antioxidants. At the same time, avoid excess sugar and junk food as it harms immunity.
The third important thing is to exercise regularly. For this, do 30 to 45 minutes of exercise, walk, yoga or light exercise daily, which activates the immune cells. Exercise improves blood circulation and reduces swelling in the body. Fourth is the management of stress, continuous stress weakens the immune system. Reduce stress through meditation, pranayam, listening to music or a hobby. Good mood helps in keeping immunity strong.
The fifth important thing is to keep yourself hydrated. Lack of water in the body affects immune function. Drink adequate amount of water, lemonade, buttermilk or herbal tea throughout the day. This removes toxins from the body and the cells remain active.
