Royal Enfield to expand its portfolio in FY2027 by launching several new motorcycles in the 350-450cc, 650cc and 750cc segments
Royal Enfield is preparing to launch 18 new motorcycles in the Indian market during FY27 (April 2026-March 2027). Of these, 5 will be completely new models, while the remaining 13 will be updated versions of existing bikes. The new bikes that the company will launch include Bullet 650, Scram 450, Himalayan 440, Continental GT 750 and Himalayan 750. The company’s second electric bike Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 will be launched in April 2027. The company is setting up its new manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh, which will be the company’s first plant outside Tamil Nadu.
Talking about the motorcycles to be launched in India, Bullet 650 was first introduced at EICMA 2025 and after that it was also showcased at Motoverse 2025. It will be positioned below the Classic 650 and its starting price could be around Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will have a 648cc parallel-twin engine, which will give 46.4 bhp power and 52.3 Nm torque. The bike will have features like slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, USB Type-C charging and semi-digital instrument cluster.
Whereas Scram 450 can be launched in early 2027. It will be positioned between Guerrilla 450 and Himalayan 450 and its price is expected to be around Rs 2.75 lakh. It will have a 452cc Sherpa engine and will compete with the Triumph Scrambler 400 The bike will be provided with TFT display with riding modes, switchable ABS and Google Maps support.
The Himalayan 440 will be positioned between the Scram 440 and the Himalayan 450. It is being considered as the new incarnation of Himalayan 411. It will have a 443cc air/oil-cooled engine and its seat height and price may be less than the Himalayan 450. It is likely to have features like Tripper Navigation and switchable ABS.
Royal Enfield will enter the 750cc segment for the first time through the Continental GT 750. Its design will be similar to GT 650 but it will get a more powerful 750cc parallel-twin engine, which will give about 50-55 bhp power. The special thing is that for the first time it will be provided with dual disc brakes on the front.
The Himalayan 750 will be the company’s biggest adventure bike so far. Its production model will be presented at EICMA 2026. It can get features like 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, LED headlamp, windscreen, knuckle guards and Brembo-based Bybre braking system. It will get power from a 750cc twin-cylinder engine.
