Regarding the attack on BJP office in Tarn Taran, Punjab, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu targeted Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and said that he is living in fear of losing power, hence doing such things. Also, he warned that if they continue doing such things, Tihar Jail is waiting for them. Speaking to reporters at Tarn Taran Sahib, Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu said, “This was done by Arvind Kejriwal in a well-planned manner, within the stipulated time frame and especially by involving officials close to him. We are preparing a full report on this.” He said that we have taken this matter seriously, because for BJP its workers are most important. If it has become the biggest party in the world, it is because of this reason. If any flaw is found in this then BJP will cease to be BJP. That is why I have come here immediately on the instructions of the BJP leadership.
He said such efforts were made everywhere across Punjab, but they were successful only at five places. The biggest attack took place on our Tarn Taran office. People came here with weapons. Kejriwal now sees defeat, that is why he is doing all this, but Punjab is never afraid of weapons.
He said that Kejriwal does not know that we are people who have taken bullets in the chest. They do not know Punjabis. Our leaders are meeting the DGP. We will take strict action on this. We will not tolerate such behavior towards our workers.
Ravneet Singh Bittu said that when leaders are leaving the party and workers are running away, then Kejriwal is in panic. Only one state is left. In such a situation, they are feeling that if this also goes away then who will provide the glass palace, who will provide the private jet, and where will the huge expenses of the family come from.
He warned that if such a thing is done then Tihar Jail is waiting. A mill will also be found there and that too will be heavier than before.
