There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel across the country on May 14, 2026. There are continuous fluctuations in the prices of crude oil in the international market, but at present it has not affected the domestic fuel rates.
According to the latest rates released by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), even today the prices of petrol and diesel remain stable, which is providing relief to the common consumers. This is a sign of stability that has continued for several consecutive days, indicating a state of equilibrium in the market.
Impact of international market but domestic stability
Crude oil prices continue to fluctuate globally. Sometimes due to increase in demand and sometimes due to change in production, oil prices are going up and down in the international market. Despite this, there has been no change in fuel prices in India at present.
Experts say that due to the balanced pricing strategy of the government and oil companies, consumers are currently getting relief. The objective of keeping prices stable in the domestic market is to avoid putting additional burden on the general public.
Consumers got relief
Stability in petrol and diesel prices has also affected transportation, freight and everyday needs. Due to no change in fuel rates, transport costs have remained under control, due to which inflation has also been controlled to some extent.
