Mumbai, May 17 (IANS). BJP MLA in Maharashtra Assembly Sanjay Upadhyay on Sunday fully supported the appeal by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to provide financial assistance on the birth of third and fourth children. He said that Hindu society should produce more children to prevent population imbalance.
Speaking to IANS, MLA Sanjay Upadhyay said, “We want Hindus to produce more children. If the population imbalance continues and the Muslim population continues to grow rapidly, the demography of the country will change, which will impact the country’s security and nature.”
He further said, “We accept the government’s appeal of ‘we two, our two’, while on the other hand there is talk of ‘four and our forty’. The Andhra Pradesh government’s campaign to give Rs 30,000 to the third child and Rs 40,000 to the fourth is welcome.”
On the NEET paper leak controversy, Sanjay Upadhyay said, “The paper leak is very unfortunate, but NEET and NTA have ended the rigging and corruption that used to happen earlier in medical admissions to a great extent. Some people want to end this process because they are not able to get the benefits of corruption.”
He demanded that the process of NEET should be more strict and also should be easy for the children. The criminals who are involved in this should get the harshest punishment.
Expressing pride in Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi’s statement regarding Pakistan, Sanjay Upadhyay said, “All Indians are proud of their Army. The Army Chief’s statement is heart-warming for every Indian. It is not just a statement, but a symbol of the strength and courage of the Indian Army.”
The MLA welcomed the court’s decision in the Bhojshala case. He said that this decision of the court is of historical importance.
Sanjay Upadhyay stressed that population policy should be viewed from the perspective of national security. He appealed to the Hindu society to consider it as a social and national responsibility to produce more children and give them good education and values.
