**Auspicious time in the morning:** The time between 5:30 am to 9:00 am is considered best for performing puja.
**Abhijeet Muhurta:** This auspicious time will be from 11:50 am to 12:45 pm. It is believed that any work or effort done during this special time brings immense success.
**Evening Puja Timings:** In the evening time – after sunset, especially between 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm – reciting ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ and performing ‘Aarti’ will prove to be extremely fruitful.
Simple puja method for Lord Hanuman
Today, to get the blessings of Lord Hanuman, wake up early in the morning, take a holy bath and wear clean clothes (preferably red or yellow). Then, go to your home temple or a nearby Hanuman temple and perform the puja as follows: Sit with folded hands in front of the idol or picture of Lord Hanuman and resolve to observe a fast or perform a special puja. Light a lamp of cow ghee or jasmine oil in front of Lord Hanuman. Then, after bathing Lord Bajrangbali with Ganga water, offer him red flowers, Gomti Chakra or Tulsi leaves.
After this, offer them vermilion mixed with jasmine oil – this method is called ‘Chola’. On this auspicious day, it is considered very auspicious to offer bhog (sacred food) – like boondi laddus, gram flour laddus, or puri and halwa – to Lord Hanuman. Sitting on the puja mat, recite Hanuman Chalisa, Bajrang Baan or Sunderkand with full devotion.
