In Hindu religious beliefs and Puranas, time is divided into four ages Satyayuga, Tretayuga, Dwaparayuga and Kaliyuga. The present time is considered to be Kaliyuga, which has been said to be the era of unrighteousness and moral degradation.
It is also mentioned in religious texts that when sin and unrighteousness reach their peak, then a divine power will descend, which is considered to be the last incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Recognition of Kalki Avatar
According to Hindu beliefs, Kalki Avatar, the tenth and final incarnation of Lord Vishnu, will appear at the end of Kaliyuga. It is believed that this incarnation will destroy unrighteousness and re-establish religion and begin a new era.
Beliefs related to the end of Kaliyuga
It is described in the Puranas and religious texts that at the end of Kaliyuga, there will be immense corruption, injustice and moral degradation in the society. In this situation, Kalki Avatar will arrive as a divine intervention, which will destroy evil and establish balance.
Doomsday and the beginning of a new era
According to beliefs, after Kalki incarnation, there will be a process of major transformation, which is also seen as cataclysm in many traditions. After this, a new and more religious era like Satyayuga is said to begin, in which truth and justice are re-established.
Folk beliefs and modern viewpoint
Although all these things are based on religious texts and faith, it is also seen in a symbolic way. According to many scholars, this story gives the message of continuous struggle between good and evil and ultimately the victory of religion.
