Shimla, May 21 (IANS). Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has defended the statement of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, in which he made objectionable remarks about PM Modi.
While talking to the media in Shimla, CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that as the leader of the opposition, Rahul Gandhi raises those issues which concern the general public. He is speaking the truth, that is why BJP is facing problems, because it does not want these things to be known among the public. The country’s challenges and issues of public interest are at the center of Rahul Gandhi’s talks.
On the other hand, on the death anniversary of former PM Rajiv Gandhi, the CM gratefully remembered his visionary leadership, his invaluable contribution to the technological and modern development of the country and his determination to empower the youth. Rajiv Gandhi’s thoughts, values and his dedication towards nation-building are still a source of inspiration for all of us.
Posting on the social media platform Under this scheme, youth are being given 50 percent subsidy on purchasing e-taxi. A target has been set to connect 500 youth with this in the year 2026-27, for which a provision of Rs 50 crore has been made. All these e-taxis are affiliated with government departments, so that the youth can get permanent employment and regular income. Besides, they are being further empowered financially by providing additional assistance of Rs 5000 per month.
In another post, CM wrote that the more healthy and nourished the childhood is, the stronger will be the future of Himachal. Keeping in mind the better health and balanced nutrition of children, our government is providing additional nutritious food two days a week under ‘Mukhyamantri Bal Poshan Yojana’. A special provision of Rs 17 crore has been made for the effective operation of the scheme, so that every child of the state can get good nutrition and move towards a healthy and bright future.
