Patna, May 23 (IANS). Union Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan defended the central government over rising oil prices due to global conditions. He admitted that the current situation is challenging for the common man and the government is making every possible effort to deal with this problem.
Speaking to IANS on the rise in prices of petrol and diesel, Chirag Paswan said, “Of course, I accept with full humility that somewhere it is a matter of concern for the public and the common people. The prices have definitely increased.”
He said that this is the result of the current global situation and the global challenges that are affecting not only India but every country in the world. However, my Government and my Prime Minister have tried our best to keep the situation under control as much as possible and for as long as possible.
Chirag said that if America, Israel and Iran sit together and reach an agreement, the situation can become normal. These decisions are being taken by the government only when the situation starts going out of control. Chirag Paswan said that everyone knows that if global challenges continue like this, the situation may become more complicated. Which government does not want things to go on better?
Regarding Tejashwi Yadav’s statement on the encounter in Bihar, Chirag Paswan said that terrorists and criminals have neither caste nor religion. If today’s young leaders also follow the same kind of politics which has been done by political parties for the last decades, where attempts have been made to divide people on the basis of caste, religion and religion, then it is unfortunate.
Chirag said that if caste is seen even in criminals, then this thinking is wrong. Bihar has to be made crime free. Bihar has been affected by jungle raj for a long time and is backward. In such a situation, every criminal, irrespective of caste or religion, will be selectively punished.
