Karnal, May 24 (IANS). Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal reached Karnal in Haryana on Sunday, where he participated in several programs and heard the problems of the people. During this, he also reviewed the ongoing development works in the area.
While talking to the media in Karnal, he said that after the elections, complaints are received at many places that public representatives do not come. I have also told the MLAs to visit all the villages in their constituency. I have started planning a tour of major villages of Karnal Lok Sabha.
He said that I have visited rural areas. There are no problems related to the Central Government, but people who have problems at the Panchayat, State Government and local level are informed about them to the officials. MLAs are also present together. In Chandigarh, CM also conducts public dialogue programs. A portal has been created on which problems are registered and then resolved.
He said that whatever we say or say to the public, we try to eliminate those problems as soon as possible. There are small problems. There are problems related to Panchayat and complaints of illegal occupation. Our effort is to take the villagers together and discuss their problems and also ensure that when the time comes to remove illegal encroachment, the villagers do not oppose it.
On the cancellation of NEET, the Union Minister said that once the examination has been cancelled, the state governments should take care of the facilities of the children. CM has announced free buses for children, this is a good step. On the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, he said that according to the conditions, there has not been much increase in the prices of oil.
