JioEV has launched its new smart AC EV charger Aries 7.4 kW Pro. This charger is specially designed for those who want safe and smart charging facility at home, office or commercial setup. According to the company, this device will prove useful for personal use as well as for housing societies and fleet operators.
The biggest feature of this charger is its advanced connectivity. It has 4G, Wi-Fi and LAN support. Users can monitor the charging status and use the remote control feature through the JioToPower app. This makes it easy to manage charging from anywhere.
RFID support has been provided in the charger, so that only authorized users will be able to start charging. This feature is especially beneficial in places where many people use the same charging station. It is considered a better option for offices, fleet services and housing societies.
JioEV Aries 7.4 KV Pro has a 5 meter long cable and universal Type-2 connector. It works with many electric cars including Tata Nexon EV, MG Windsor EV and Kia EV6.
The charger has IP65 and IK10 rating, making it protected from water, dust and shocks. Apart from this, many advanced safety features like overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuit, ground fault and surge protection are also provided in it. It also supports OCPP, so that it can be easily connected to large EV charging networks.
