New Delhi, 21 September (IANS). In today’s time, the routine of children is being reduced to mobile, TV and internet. His physical and mental development has become a major challenge. In such a situation, the Ministry of AYUSH emphasizes the inclusion of Yogasan and Pranayama in life, which makes physical health as well as mentally strong.
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, when a child does yoga regularly, his body is strong, the mind remains calm, and the power to think and understand increases.
In childhood, if yoga is included in the routine, then it becomes a habit and comes in handy throughout his life. There are many yogasanas, which are simple and safe for children. With their help, many things like their height, digestive system, concentration and confidence are strengthened.
Tadasana:- Tadasana is considered extremely helpful in increasing length. In this posture, children stand up and pull the hands upwards. This makes their spine straight and stretch the whole body. This stretch helps in increasing the length of the body. Also, when the child pays attention to the speed of the breath, his mind also calms down.
Vriksasana:- In the tree, when the child stands on one leg, he focuses, which improves his concentration. It helps not only in studies but also in other work.
Apart from these, asanas like Padhastasana, Vakrasan and Paschimottanasana are extremely beneficial for children. These asanas increase the appetite of children. When the child eats properly, his physical development will also be good.
In addition, these asanas accelerate the metabolism of the body, which keeps energy and also increases the strength to fight against diseases.
