Katichkrasana is considered very effective in removing problems ranging from breathing problems to digestive problems. According to yoga experts, Katichkrasana is an easy yet effective asana. It is done while standing. Regular exercise removes waist weakness, increases flexibility and maintains body mobility.
Experts say that healthy aging does not only mean living a long life. It is important to maintain physical strength, mobility, self-reliance and complete health even in old age. In today’s busy lifestyle, stiffness, back pain, difficulty in breathing, digestive weakness and lack of flexibility have become common problems. These problems gradually affect the quality of life. Katichkrasana proves helpful in dealing with all these problems.
Talking about the benefits of practicing Katichkrasana, it increases the flexibility of the body by strengthening the waist and spine. Improves respiratory function (breathing process) and keeps the digestive system healthy. Its practice reduces stiffness in the back and hips and also increases the energy level in the body.
This asana is especially useful for those who work sitting for long hours or have back-related complaints. With regular exercise, one can remain active and healthy even in old age. An asana like Katichkrasana can be done easily at home and it does not require any special equipment. Beginners should start practicing slowly and if there is any serious health problem then definitely consult a yoga expert.
