Rohtak. There was a sensation in the area after the body of a 52-year-old man, who was missing for three days in village Khidwali of Rohtak district of Haryana, was recovered from Johar of the village on Saturday morning. The deceased has been identified as Khidwali, a resident of Rohtash. As soon as the information was received, Sadar police station, FSL team and a large number of villagers reached the spot. According to the information, Rohtash was missing since the night of June 10. Family members say that he was last seen with some people of the village. Despite continuous search, nephew Ashok lodged a missing report at Sadar police station on Friday when no clue was found. The complaint alleged that Rohtash was last seen with three people from the village and a demand was also made to interrogate him. On Saturday morning, a dead body was found floating in the pond of Dobhi village, after which there was panic among the villagers.
With the help of villagers, the police took out the body, which was identified as Rohtash. After this, the FSL team inspected the spot and collected important evidence and the body was sent for post-mortem.
The family members have alleged that on the night of June 10, Rohtash was drinking alcohol with Balraj, Shriom and Ravindra alias Badlu of the village. They say that due to some dispute he was murdered and his body was thrown in the pond.
The family members have registered a case of murder in the matter and demanded strict action against the culprits. At present the police is busy investigating the entire matter.
