Noida, 4 October (IANS). Dengue havoc in Gautam Budh Nagar district is continuously increasing. According to the latest report of the Health Department, 53 new cases of dengue have been reported in the last four days. Anti larva drug has been sprayed in the homes and surrounding areas of these patients, so that the outbreak of mosquitoes can be controlled.
Malaria department official Shruti Kirti Verma informed that these new cases have been confirmed between September 30 and October 3. With this, so far the total number of dengue cases in the district has reached 419. This situation has become a matter of concern for the health department.
He informed that the team of health workers is constantly monitoring. In areas where patients are being identified, especially fogging and anti-live spray are being done. Not only this, in many cases, patients’ offices have also been contacted and there is also spraying to eliminate mosquitoes.
The Health Department has appealed to the people not to allow water to accumulate in their homes and around, as the dengue -spreading Aedes mosquito thrives in clean water. People have been advised to not allow water tanks and coolers to clean water regularly, water in old pots, tires and pots.
Doctors say that it is most important to conduct timely investigation to prevent dengue. Also, no fever should be taken lightly. Early symptoms of dengue include high fever, headache, pain behind the eyes, muscle and joint pain, rash and weakness.
At the same time, the Health Department has claimed that patients are being given proper treatment and monitoring. All hospitals in the district have been alerted and dengue testing and treatment facilities have been provided.
At present, the Health Department is constantly making efforts to prevent rapid prevention in dengue cases. However, experts say that unless people themselves are alert, it will be difficult to get complete control over the disease.
