Bharatpur. A shocking case has come to light from Bharatpur city of Rajasthan, where a huge uproar broke out after a piece of meat was found in a mango shake at a juice shop near Lupine intersection at around 6 pm on Monday evening. The victim customer alleges that when he saw something strange in the glass, the shopkeeper tried to explain it away by calling it ‘raisins’. However, when the customer became suspicious and cleaned the piece by washing it with water, it turned out to be a piece of meat. Seeing the dispute escalating, the shopkeeper immediately threw away that piece, but by then Bajrang Dal district convenor Shubham Sainthara and others reached the spot. Bajrang Dal workers say that they had gone there to inquire about the real name of the shopkeeper in connection with a video going on social media, during which this incident happened. Upon searching the shop, a black bag was found nearby, which was reportedly filled with large pieces of meat. Angered by this incident, the crowd present at the spot beat up the shopkeeper fiercely, while other employees working at the shop escaped after getting the opportunity. As soon as the information was received, Mathura Gate police station reached the spot and handled the situation. Police officer Harlal Meena said that acting on the complaint of a piece of meat coming out in the juice, the accused shop owner has been taken into custody. The police have confiscated the recovered meat pieces and sent them to the medical lab for testing and the matter is being investigated thoroughly.
