This new variant of the Passion+ range has features like LED projector headlamp, front disc brake and fully digital instrument cluster as standard.
Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Passion + Disc in the Indian market at Rs 84,128 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is the new top-spec variant of the Passion+ range, positioned above the Drum and 125 Million Edition. The new bike will be available at Hero MotoCorp dealerships across the country and is offered in four attractive dual-tone color options namely Heavy Grey, Nexus Blue, Dark Industrial Gray and Pearl Red.
The new Hero Passion+ Disc has a segment-first LED projector headlamp for the first time, which provides better visibility along with a premium look. The bike’s dual-tone paint scheme, long and comfortable seat and relaxed riding position make it more comfortable for daily city commuting. Keeping safety in mind, it is also provided with a side-stand engine cut-off system, due to which the engine will not start if the side stand is down.
The biggest feature of this new variant is front disc brake and fully digital instrument cluster. The digital meter offers many modern features like Real Time Mileage Indicator (RTMI), Bluetooth connectivity, call and SMS alerts, service reminder, low fuel indicator, trip meter, speedometer and odometer.
Apart from this, the bike is also provided with a utility storage box to keep small items and a USB charging port to charge the mobile while travelling. Hero’s patented i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) technology is also included in it, which is known for better mileage.
The new Hero Passion+ Disc has a 100cc BS6 and OBD-2 Phase A compliant engine, which develops power of 7.9 bhp and torque of 8.05 Nm. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The bike is based on a double-cradle frame and has telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The company claims that this motorcycle gives a mileage of up to 71 kmpl.
