According to Vastu Shastra, wrong direction of bathroom can cause energy imbalance in the house.
North-west (northwest) direction is considered suitable for the bathroom. It is advisable to always keep the bathroom door closed. Regular cleaning and proper ventilation are considered essential. If possible, the bathroom and puja room should not be opposite each other.
