Putting an end to speculations about changes in its state unit ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections, the Indian National Congress on Wednesday clarified that no major changes will be made. It is being said that Lok Sabha MP and party leader Manish Tiwari is unhappy with this decision; There is speculation that he may leave the party. A post shared by Tiwari on Thursday, July 2, a day after the Congress high command’s decision, has further strengthened these indications.
Writing sarcastically, Tiwari said, “Being skilled is a major flaw in a person.” The Lok Sabha MP further wrote, “I wish I had a surefire cure for the insecurity – the feeling of inferiority or insecurity – that plagues people and institutions!”
He acknowledged that he has received a lot from the Indian National Congress over the last 45 years and in return, he has dedicated his entire adult life to the service of the party for decades. He wrote, “Whatever is going to happen, will happen.”
