Jaipur. A review meeting of departmental projects was held at Tourism Bhawan on Thursday under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism and Art Culture Minister Diya Kumari. Senior officials including Government Secretary Shuchi Tyagi and Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riad were present. Diya Kumari discussed the preparation of the outline of the festival to be organized on the completion of 300 years of the establishment of Jaipur and gave necessary instructions. He said that 300 years of establishment of Jaipur and its heritage branding is an opportunity to promote Rajasthan as a global destination. He said that this is the main opportunity for heritage branding of Jaipur, which should be linked with its bravery, faith, heritage tourism and art-culture to promote Rajasthan as a global destination.
Discussion was held to develop Jawahar Kala Kendra, Shilpgram as a world class art and cultural centre. Along with this, the point of Ravindra Manch was also discussed.
He gave necessary instructions by discussing points like development of Tanot Mata temple complex on Jaisalmer border in coordination with BSF, Pushkar Development Project, media buying for media campaign and Amer Light and Sound Show.
Officials said that the tourism app gave information about the progress of points like Maharana Pratap Circuit, MEA International Promotion, Museum in Walled City etc. The creative campaign shooting schedule of the Tourism Department, Albert Hall Museum renovation, Amer Masterplan, and the progress of Jhunjhunu War Museum were discussed.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed that all projects should be completed in a time bound manner.
