Lighting a mustard oil lamp under the Peepal tree on Saturday evening is considered auspicious. While lighting the lamp, meditate on Shanidev and pray for the removal of obstacles in life. According to religious beliefs, this remedy is considered helpful in reducing the effects of Shani Dosh.
2. Donate shade
On Saturday, take mustard oil in a bowl and see your face in it. After this, donate that oil to a needy person or offer it in Shani temple. This process is called Chhaya Daan. It is believed that this can provide relief from troubles related to Saturn.
3. Recite Hanuman Chalisa
According to mythological beliefs, Shanidev is pleased by the worship of Lord Hanuman. Therefore, reciting Hanuman Chalisa, Sunderkand or Bajrang Baan on Saturday is considered auspicious. It is believed to provide mental peace, self-confidence and positive energy.
4. Feed bread to a black dog

5. Donate black sesame and urad urad
Donating black sesame seeds, whole urad urad, mustard oil, black clothes or iron items on Saturday is considered auspicious. Donation should always be done according to one’s faith and capacity.

Do not insult any poor, elderly or needy. Stay away from lies, deceit and dishonesty. Control anger and ego. Chant the mantra “Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah” 108 times. Help needy people and try to do good deeds.
