New Delhi, July 8 (IANS). Political rhetoric has intensified regarding allegations of embezzlement of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple offerings. Uttar Pradesh Minister Surya Pratap Shahi has said that CM Yogi has entrusted the responsibility of investigating the case to the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Further action will be taken based on the investigation process and action has been taken against those found involved.
Uttar Pradesh Government Cabinet Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, while talking to journalists, said that a meeting has also been held on behalf of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, in which many information related to the matter has been clarified.
He said that both the government and the trust are taking this issue seriously. Action will be taken against anyone found guilty, no matter how great his identity or influence.
He said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given clear instructions that complete transparency should be maintained in the investigation and decisions should be taken on the basis of facts. Keeping in view the faith of the people in the matters related to the temple, the government will not show any kind of negligence.
Minister Surya Pratap Shahi also gave information about a new scheme related to education of the state government. He said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will start a cashless treatment scheme for teachers, Shiksha Mitras and instructors of secondary and basic schools from Varanasi. Under this scheme, cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh will be provided to the eligible beneficiaries and their family members.
Meanwhile, state president of Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) and Dinara MLA Alok Kumar Singh in Kaimur district of Bihar also reacted on this matter. He said that let the investigation be completed, if anyone is found guilty in the investigation, then appropriate action will definitely be taken against them as per the provisions of the Constitution and law. The final decision lies with the court.”
He said that as far as the alleged theft of offerings in the Ram temple is concerned, the government has formed an inquiry committee. We should wait for the investigation report. Whoever is found guilty, appropriate action will be taken against him.
