Volkswagen Tayron 5-seater has a 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine, which gives power of 204 PS and torque of 320 Nm.
Volkswagen India has today launched the Tayron Life SUV in the Indian market, which comes with a 5-seater configuration. It has been priced at Rs 41.99 lakh and is the company’s second locally assembled SUV launched in India this year. Compared to the top R-Line variant of Tayron, its price is about Rs 5 lakh less.
Talking about size, the length of Volkswagen Tayron Life is about 4.8 meters, while its wheelbase is more than 2.7 meters. It is a 5-seater SUV, which has a boot space of 885 liters. When the rear seats are folded, the boot space increases to 2,090 litres.
Talking about design, Tayron Life has full LED headlamps, illuminated light bar between the headlights, illuminated Volkswagen logo, body color front bumper and silver front skid plate. The side profile features black roof rails, ORVMs with projection lighting, door trough lighting and 18-inch Bologna alloy wheels.
Talking about the features, this SUV has automatic headlamps, 3-zone automatic climate control, 12-way electric adjustable ergoActive front seats, massage function, ventilated and heated front seats, rear AC control, keyless entry and start, electronic parking brake, auto hold, rain-sensing wipers, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, Premium features like 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof and IDA digital voice assistant are available.
Apart from this, it also has an 8-speaker audio system, rear view camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charger for two mobile phones and front and rear USB ports. The new Tayron Life will be available in a total of 7 color options, which include Dolphin Gray Metallic, Cipressino Green Metallic, Oyster Silver Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, Ultraviolet Metallic, Oryx White Mother-of-Pearl Effect and Grenadilla Black Metallic.
For safety, Volkswagen Tayron Life has 14 advanced safety features as standard with 9 airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ISOFIX child seat anchors and Level-2 ADAS.
The new Tayron Life has a 2.0-litre TSI EVO turbo petrol engine, which generates 148 bhp power and 320 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and 4MOTION all-wheel drive (AWD) system, which provides better performance and better grip in different road conditions.
