Patna, July 13 (IANS). Bihar government minister Deepak Prakash has claimed that the NDA candidate will win with a huge majority in the Bankipur assembly by-election. On Monday, BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha, Jan Suraj Party chief Prashant Kishore and candidates of other parties filed nomination papers.
A large number of BJP workers were present along with Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi and JDU leaders during the nomination of BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha. Before the nomination, a grand bike rally was taken out, in which unprecedented crowd was seen.
Minister Deepak Prakash said that the Central and State Governments together have done a lot of work for the development of Bihar. I have full confidence that the public will make the NDA candidate win with a huge vote.
RJD candidate is also in the fray in the by-election of Bankipur Assembly, but Tejashwi Yadav is away from this election. Regarding this, Minister Deepak Prakash taunted and said that we have been seeing this for a long time that they go abroad. Even during the assembly session which was very important and was the first session after the formation of the government, he was not present. He is continuously living abroad. People are seeing who is among them and who is not. The public is watching everything and will make its assessment accordingly. I am confident that the public will make the NDA candidate victorious.
On the dispute between Khan sir and Roshan sir, Deepak Prakash said that the matter is pending in the court, so I do not have all the information. The investigation was going on and whatever the facts are, the government is taking impartial action. Since the matter is in court, I would not like to make any further comment on it.
Nitin Naveen had won the 2025 assembly elections from Bankipur assembly seat. After being elected as Rajya Sabha member, he resigned from Bankipur seat. The Election Commission is conducting by-elections on this seat that became vacant after the resignation.
