Crude oil prices are rising again on concerns of supply disruptions due to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Even today, on July 22, 2026, crude oil prices are seen increasing. Brent crude rose 2% to $91.01 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also rose 2% to $84.91 a barrel.

The US dollar index, which measures the strength and weakness of the dollar against major world currencies, was trading at 101.15 today. Meanwhile, the Indian rupee recovered and was trading at 96.24 against the US dollar in early trade today, indicating a rise of about 12 to 21 paise in the rupee compared to yesterday.
