Apple has officially launched its latest smartphone lineup and is now available for sale through official channels. These include the iPhone 17 series and ultra-thin iPhone Air. After the global launch earlier this month, these four models are now available in India through online and offline mediums.
However, the price of iPhone in India is much higher than the US, Canada and Hong Kong. The base model of iPhone in the US is available only for $ 799 (Rs 70,466), while the same model in India starts from Rs 82,900. That is, the base model in India is about 17.65 percent expensive.
However, in countries like Brazil and Vietnam, the price of new iPhone is higher than India. For example, the iPhone 17 in Vietnam is priced at Rs 1,05,400.
These products were launched on 9 September.
Apple’s iPhone 17 series, new iPhone Air, Apple Watch Series 11 and AirPods Pro (third generation) were launched on 9 September at a ‘Away Dropping’ event. Apple made them available for pre-order in India immediately after displaying its latest hardware innovation. Now, the new iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods models are available for sale from Friday, September 19.
These latest products of Cupertino Company are now available on Apple India website, Apple Store app, major e-commerce sites and other offline retailers. They are also available at Apple’s official store in Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune.
The price of iPhone 17 in India starts at ₹ 82,900 for a base variant with 256GB storage. The initial price of the iPhone Air is ₹ 1,19,900 and it comes with 256GB storage. The price of iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max is ₹ 1,34,900 and ₹ 1,49,900 for 256GB storage variants respectively.
